“I am a licensed professional. I purchased these curly extensions for myself and have had them installed for a few months now. I cannot recommend these to my curly clients.
When they arrived, they were more of a 2c wave than a curl. Calling these curly extensions is misleading, especially if your curl pattern is any tighter than a 2c wave.
As soon as these extensions get wet, the curl disappears. I emailed customer service and Janet informed me that my extensions may not hold a curl based on the hair being human and maybe that human’s hair didn’t hold a curl. I informed her I specifically bought curly hair extensions. She told me that the curl is “baked” in. So essentially a thermal curl. As soon as you get these extensions wet, the curl is gone. I do believe that advertising these as curly extensions is very misleading.”
