“We ordered a 7.5 tog duvet for winter use in our relatively modern house (19C overnight in the bedroom), as we use a 4.5 tog John Lewis duvet during summer and this was simply too cold. However this ended up being much too warm, and when I requested a return, Phillippa (the founder of Duvet Hog!) sent a personal email immediately refunding the money and offering a 4.5 tog duvet instead, explaining that the quality control tests on their recent batches had shown them to be a bit warmer than advertised. We returned the 7.5 tog and received a 4.5 tog by return and it's simply wonderful! It's beautifully made, holds its size and shape well, feels soft and silky and cosy without being heavy. We've found it absolutely perfect for our needs and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
