The Deering Goodtime Leader Parlor is a higher specification than the standard Goodtime Parlor banjo. It is an excellent shorter scale 19 fret open back banjo with a rock maple neck set up for playing all styles, it is lightweight and easy to handle and carry for travelling if needed. Each banjo we supply is individually set up in our on-site Banjo Specialist Workshop here at Eagle Music. Any Banjo purchased from Eagle will be fully SET UP, checked for intonation and playability and tuned ready for playing straight out of the box! Goodtime Parlor Specification: The sound from this banjo is incredible! The three ply violin maple rim is the same quality as found on pre war Mastertone banjos. A really nice sounding banjo. The size in no way limits it playability or it’s volume. It looks the part, plays the part, and sounds the part. Well done Deering.

I am a fan for the Deering range of banjos. This little banjo gives a wonderful sound. The neck is shorter, obviously and the frets are a little closer together than my full size Deering. I don’t find this causes any problems when swapping back to a full sized banjo. The quality of the instrument is wonderful as are all the Deering Banjos I’ve had. I would recommend this banjo to anyone who asked.
