Read Eagle Music Shop Reviews

The Black Mountain Pick is built for musicians who enjoy playing with their fingers (fingerstyle) but also enjoy playing with a pick (flatpicking). Players love the Black Mountain Pick because it feels like a regular pick, but it also feels like a traditional thumb pick. One size fits all. Light gauge version. Play the Way You Want To! · Use your fingers . . . use a pick . . . switch between your fingers and a pick whenever you feel the urge! · 0.6 mm Nylon pick with bevelled edges. · Tapered Thumb Ring fits medium, large and XL, right handed thumbs. Very comfortable! · Combine your fingerpicking and flatpicking into your own unique musical expression! First Pick in the World to Use a Spring! This patented new technology offers several advantages over traditional thumb picks. 1) The spring allows the pick to be flexible so it feels like a regular flat pick 2) The spring clamps the thumb ring around the player's thumb creating a perfect balance between comfort and stability. BUILT FOR PERFORMANCE WHETHER YOU'RE A BEGINNER OR A PRO!!!.

Love this pick. I'm not great with picks as my fingers have become less nimble, and liked the idea of being able to switch easily from pick to fingerpicking. This is really comfortable and pleasing to use. Wish I'd discovered it years ago.

Allows me to " play " again. I'm a 79year old with osteo arthritis who couldn't hold a pick. Really comfortable to wear after " tweaking ' thumb clip in hot water.

Love this thumbpick. The one with the extra strong spring suits me. Probably will go for thicker pick when I’m more proficient.

I love the principle and precise location with this thumb pick. Hpowever the original model was too stiff, then I got a medium one. This one is too thin si in future I would go for the medium one. It gives me adequately smooth chords but good definition when playing runs on the bass strings.

An excellent thumb-pick/plectrum cross which is perfect for hybrid picking. I use fairly light gauge strings on both acoustics and electrics, so this light gauge one works well for me. The medium one is too thick & inflexible for me. I must admit, Black Mountain stuff is quite pricey but it is good quality.

Find this finger pick great if you strum with the side of your thumb. It allows you to free up the other fingers, notable the index. Think this style is just great!!
