I never got along with thumb picks all that well. The thing is, you need a thumb pick if you are to use finger picks. I have found that Black Mountain thumb picks are easy to use, and you can strum with them too, so they open up an area of technique. For plain thumb picking though, I use the Bumblebee every time now. The acoustic guitar is loud and clear, the picking is relaxed and accurate, the tone of the guitar is maximised. These picks have an adjustable angle. I glue mine very slightly off-straight. They sit well on the thumb with a small strip of Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Foam tape over the thumb nail and are totally comfortable. Far from being an occasional necessity, thanks to the Bumblebee I now find that using a thumb pick is the default set-up for fingerpicking the acoustic guitar. It just so happens that Eagle Music sells these little wonders at a favourable price and supplies them very promptly.

Excellent. Just as described, affordable, and arrived quickly. I've played for a long time but this is my first time trying out a thumbpuck and it doesn't disappoint. I think the size chart for the thumb picks could be easier to find as despite the directions to it I couldn't find it and kind of had to guess, but regardless I'd give it 5 stars! Adds a spin to playing and far more enjoyable than a regular plectrum - you get a clearer, more consistent sound and far more control! I'd like to move onto a metal one at some point but can't fault this one in any way!

Nifty little product that is vastly superior to the standard Dunlop thumb picks
