“As someone who has been making my own golden Elixer for several years with the same ingredients (minus the Maitaki and Reishi mushroom powder, but adding Lions Mane, Shatarvari and Triphala, I was quite underwhelmed by this Golden Superfood Bliss powder. It came in a squashed package and had a very rancid smell once opened. The use by date is June 2024…..a mere 2 months away. Not only did it smell awful upon opening the packet, it also tasted really rancid.. Why did you not send product with a use by date for 2025 or later?
I add fresh MCT oil to my drink and it doesn’t have this stale smell and taste.
In addition, given that I payed $84 for such a tiny amount of product, surely it would have been a gesture of good customer service to include a sample or two of your other products which you constantly bombard my inbox with free offers of ( just pay the postage) Hmmmm, even though I sent an email within 10 minutes of having placed my order requesting you to include some free samples of the same item, after reading another review where a difference between the quality of the sample versus the pouch was mentioned.
Your emails are pleasant and I can see you go to considerable effort to connect your market with your product…..However, this is a definite no from me.
I am someone who doesn’t like to waste anything, especially something as pricey as this which I was looking forward to trying, but this is totally undrinkable (each mouthful tastes and smells rank and I will sadly be throwing both packets out).
If it wasn’t such a hassle I would send it back and ask for a refund.
