Very dissapointed with all the plastic packaging though. When I buy vegan products I hope that environmental sustainability is built into the process but the wafer bars have outer and inner plastic packaging which I assume isnt recyclable (no documentation to suggest it is). Unlikely to buy again on this basis but if you change the packaging to home compostable or at least recyclable plastic I would consider buying again as they taste nice.”
Sorry for the delay in the reply. Unfortunately, due to the wafer they are needing to be double packed to ensure they keep fresher for longer and prevent extra food waste. The packaging currently isn't recyclable, but we are looking into it and running tests. We hope to have good news to bring you all soon and something we are keen to get changed. “The branding and packaging of this product is excellent and speed of delivery was great too.
The chocolate itself is a real mixed bag for my personal taste- the Cream Wafers are AMAZING- truly exceptional chocolate (pretty close to a 10/10), however the remainder of the chocolate in the box, in particular all of the Butter cups, aren't as strong (5/10 for me), as whilst the packaging implies exciting flavours, they are all somewhat lacking in in this department.
I would strongly recommend the Cream Wafers to anyone, but would be hesitant to buy any of the other products again, as they aren't truly more flavoursome than own-branded chocolate from your local supermarket.”
