“I got the Lagoon necklace in green amethyst several years ago, with a pair of earrings that didn't match. The pendant stone has faded over time and the last customer service rep I spoke to refused to change out the stone. (note- the faded earrings are very pretty, with the metal color that has darkened over time).
Recently I found an outstanding sale, for the blue topaz Lagoon earrings. I really wanted them, but you know me. Christmas isn't about buying for me, so I just heaved a sigh and left the web page.
Rafael sent me a message, offering me an attractive additional discount. I decided to buy the blue earrings at the price he offered. After giving it much thought, I asked Rafael if he could give me a similar discount on the matching ring (which was unavailable) and get the ring in my size. A few weeks later, the ring arrived, in my size. Which is a 9. I find it very troubling that just about every Effy ring can only be bought in a very teeny size; and that the prices have skyrocketed. The Effy .925 rings, etc that come with deep discounts at Macy's trunk shows are for guys in leather and onyx, and for small children. Why not give working women, moms struggling to make ends meet a break, and make a pretty shiny piece of nice jewelry an affordable treat??
Additionally, Rafael has offered to change out the stone, and clean the badly blackened sterling Lagoon necklace I got years ago under the lifetime warranty.
