Sear Spring 1911 Colt Reviews

5 Rating 25 Reviews
Read EGW Guns Reviews

These genuine Colt sear springs are the best sear springs EGW has come across in 25+ years in the 1911 business. The middle and left side prongs are weight-reduced for added responsiveness and hammer follow prevention. The distinctive blue color is typical of Colt?s excellent heat treating capabilities. Girsan witness 10mm 2311, factory sear way to heavy. I am use to about a 4.5# in a 1911 style gun and the Girsan was around 7#. Took about 3 min. To change sears and break is crisp and at just under 5#, should be perfect once some rounds are through it. East low cost upgrade with big upside

Dropped this into my Tisas 1911A1 US ARMY with a %EGW Hard Sear and got a 3.75# crisp trigger with no tuning. Great parts, great company!

Called Customer Service to ensure I was buying the correct part for my Springfield Prodigy. They were kind, informative and very helpful. The product fits properly with no modifications necessary and works as intended. Will keep coming back to EGW. All around a solid experience. Thanks
