Our Winchester 52 mount is made specific to the gun. This mount is available in 0, 20 and Negative 20 MOA.If your Winchester has a TAPERED BARREL (very front of the barrel measures less than .750" , you will need a negative 20 MOA rail - available here. The tapered barrel automatically gives you a 20 MOA, the negative will bring you back to 0 MOA.
Rail Type: One Piece PicatinnyMachined from: Domestic 6061 T6 Extruded AluminumFinish: Matte Black AnodizingCenter Spread: .860"Overall Length: 5.882"Height: .4" (Top of Receiver to Top of Picatinny)Weight: 2 oz.Quick Disconnect Ring Compatible: NoAmbidextrous: YesTorque Specs: 20 in/lbsMounting Hardware: #6-48 X 1/4 Screws and T-10 Bit Included
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.
We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability.
Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).
We recommend:0 MOA - if shooting 0-150 yards20 MOA - if shooting 150-300 yardsThe entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.

I have 2 of these. 1 on my 52B and this latest on my BSA Martini Olympic. Now I can use more modern scopes They fit perfectly and am very happy with them. The plusses are higher magnification and ease of parallalax adjustment. The minus is the new scopes do not look right on those old-style rifles. It's worth it.

Fits great. I thought that the scope would be too far forward but no problem for prone shooting with a weaver T24

I will admit I was sceptical about the mount that attached with just 2 screws that close together!! Mounted it on a 1936 model 52. Put a Redfield 3200 on mount. WOW!! Mount is rock solid!! Holds that long scope like a vise!! No flex, holds zero!! Will put one on every 52 I get!! Great product!!

I used this to scope a M12 H&R. It worked well.

My rifle is a BSA/Martini MKIII custom built for RF competition benchrest with a Lilja barrel and BR wood. I needed a base to mount a Weaver T-series 36X scope. Your Winchester 52 Target rail attached perfectly to the barrel in place of the Unertl rear mount (.860" spaced holes) and allowed positioning of the scope rings for perfect eye relief.

Will not fit 52 with original rear leaf sight in place, because back end of base hits front end of rear sight. (Which you probably didn't know, because later 52s didn't use same rear sight.) I'm going to have to cut off about 1/2" of the back end of the base to make it fit. Not a huge problem, but only tool I have to do it with is a hacksaw, so ain't going to be pretty.
