The screws sent to me were a T10 vs the original cap screws being T15, but the fit in 3 of the 4 holes in the picatinny rail. The EGW cap screw heads were just slightly larger than the original cap screw heads, but I only needed 1 screw which fit through the picatinny rail hole. The slightly larger head of the EGW screw would bind on the side area of one spot on the picatinny rail. Great price on EGWs screws, thread length & pitch fit perfect! Thank you for contacting me via e-mail informing me that the Torx head size was different that what I had requested. Great service

Had to buy these because the Picatinny scope base for the Ruger American LA only included hex/allen head screws when it was advertised as having torx screws. It wasn;t an issue until I had to remove the base to have work on the action. 1 out of the 4 allen head screws would come loose and the hex shape started to strip making it very difficult to remove the screw. Having the torx head as advertised would have prevented my issue.

The original screws that came with the Savage B-Mag rail were shorter and these were not the correct length and had to be cut down. I may have ordered the wrong screws though.

Never got Bit. Contacted EGW and you guys explained that the Bit isn't included. A bit misleading especially when it's included in the ad. Before you ask your supervisor for clarification and come back with "Oh that"s right my supervisor explained the bit isn't included". You in this very email referred to my order as. Torx Screws w/Bit - during my conversation the guy I spoke with was having a real problem grasping this concept. To your credit, you did offer to just refund money without a return. Have bought a lot of stuff with you without difficulties in the past and will continue to do so. Just saying you are going to have this same problem with everybody who purchases "Torx Screws w/Bit.....or more accurately Torx screws without Bit. Like I said no issue but the guy I talked with didn't seem to get the concept of having a Torx .....w/bit advertised without including a bit. He explained that the screws only come with a bit for rifles or something - What !!!??? that didn't make any sense at all. I didn't want to get into a discussion of 1. then why is it advertised as such? or 2. how do you know it's not for a rifle......Giving up was easier, especially when I was only out 5 bucks or so. At least I got the screws, right? And speaking of those screws they are without a doubt the best I've ever seen. Excuse my sarcasm. Regards until we meet again.

Thank you for your review. I think I understand what the issue is, I believe the description for this part number my not be as clear as it should be. This product is for a set of replacement screws and torx bit that are made specifically for our picatinny mounts. If you order this part you will get screws and a bit. When your order came through, we saw a note stating that you needed them for a red dot mount. These screws and bit will not/do not fit our red dot mounts, so our shipping department swapped the screws out for the correct part number. Our part number 49995 is for Red Dot Mount replacement screws, which is what you would need. Most of our red dot mounts use a hex/allen drive screw, we do not supply torx or hex bits that work with them. I talked to our accounts department and they are issuing a refund for the price difference between the two part numbers. I apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused.
