I’ve tried the Blessed protein which was great for a vegan alternative, but I was itching to try something else. “The protein powder dissolved well! I mixed with just cold water and it was almost like a thick shake! Incredible consistency, the vanilla ice cream was just a bit too sweet for me! Would definitely curb sweet cravings with how sweet it is, but pleased with how it dissolves!”

I bought my first batch (previous formula) earlier this year and fell in love with it. The taste is absolutely incredible and versatile. I made lots of amazing smoothies, overnight oats with Oxywhey protein, protein pancakes and the list continues. I was really excited on my new found love. I have been raving about it to allll of my friends endlessly!
So I bought a big batch in November to try out new recipes etc. Because I stay in South Africa it takes quite a while to get on our side I thought to order enough for a few months plus try out new flavours.
I bought 5 x Vanilla, 1 x chocolate and then 1 x peanut butter puff flavour.
When they arrived I saw the new packaging but didn't think the formula changed.
Untill I tasted it. I'm really disappointed in my new found Oxywhey protein's taste.
Guys, the new formula is really not nice and unfortunately is not better than the previous formula.
What specifically isn't nice about the new improved recipe? It has a bad aftertaste (similar to blessed protein, I've tried this too and then decided its not for me), the consistency of the protein is also different. The ice cream vanilla does not have the same ice cream flavour.
Please bring back the previous formula, I am not buying more of this and afraid that I would need to look out for something else. The entire batch I bought last month will go to waste.”
