Pneumothorax can't hide from this one! I have never so easily and confidently confirmed absent lung sounds!! ..... pretty funny when it is supposed to amplify everything! However, if anything had been there I would have heard it!

Works great but ear pieces tore. You were great with replacing them. Great to record BS and abnormal lung sounds

I am really happy to have found his stethoscope. I always use the digital function to get amplified sound and sometimes use the app to visualize or record an auscultation.

Just got my Core stethoscope bundle today. Quality and craftsmanship seems good. Sound quality while listening through stethoscope is good on analog or digital mode. Quality of sound coming from my iPhone speakers is mediocre. I haven't been able to get a saved recording to play online through my account yet. Two immediate software upgrades I would recommend. (1) ability to slow down or speed up playback of a recording, I am a veterinarian and listen to small animals like cats that regularly have heart rate between 180-220 and it would be nice to be able to slow the recording down. (2) The ability to move a recording from one patient to another, during my first day of use I would often forget to input patient before entering the exam room and I often recorded under the wrong patient but by the time I noticed I had already moved on to another patient and couldn't get a new recording, just had to delete from the wrong patient. Overall I am very happy, but think these changes to the software would be beneficial.

My team uses the core stethoscope for our telemedicine program. Assistants out in the field are able to work with patients while we analyze the live streams from our clinic. Great stethoscope!

Background: - I normally use a Littman cardio III (analog) and have used the 3200 (digital steth) - I'm an ER attending Pros: - It can amplify - It can create audiograms which actually is really cool. Even with hair in the way (I used it on my dog as my first test) it recorded really well. - EXTREMELY easy to switch between analog and digital - For patients that I can't hear lung sounds on, I switch to the digital and it definitely makes a huge difference...I can hear at least some air movement. - I really like the USB charging. My previous one needed batteries. Even if it dies mid-shift, you can always continue to use it as an analog stethoscope, so that's really good. Cons: - It can amplify everything in the room; it isn't very selective or aimed unlike the Littman that won't amplify conversations in the room. If it is really loud, the steth is pretty useless. - The application is extremely annoying; you have to keep logging in...and can't use LastPass on it to auto-login - Weight: surprisingly heavy around the neck and it's heavy on only one side but you get used to it; I don't think that this is something that can be avoided since it really is like two stethoscopes in one. - The diaphragm seems really cheap, doesn't feel solid...feels like a bubble that is about to pop. Overall: - For $250 (with a promo-code) it isn't a bad deal. It isn't an amazing stethoscope. It's...okay. I wouldn't buy again. But, the over-all idea of a combined analog and digital stethoscope, I think it's really amazing. I never thought something like this could be created.

The audio sounds most similar to an analog stethoscope of anything I have heard. Really high quality.
