Lungs Soungs like you will never hear before!!!! As a Paramedic Field Trainer, I now have my trainees use this. 1, they all say they can now hear lungs sounds. But where this Stehoscope is gold, being able to listen in on ear buds while they use the Stethoscope. I can help them pinpoint when to auscultate the Blood Pressure. What Rhonchi and Rales sound like. Murmurs or abnormal Heart Tones. And then recording it to add as a training tool. The 500 over teh Eko inline insert, not even close. Choose the 500. Because of this, my department is now looking at buying these for all Field Training Paramedics. Pre-Hospital Game changer

This is my second Eko stethoscope, my first was the original CORE. Love the versatility for isolation use as well as the clarity of sound.

This stethoscope allows me to do vital signs and examine the patient in the back of a noisy ambulance moving down the road. The ability to check for arrhythmias is great even without a monitor. Hearing and recording lung and heart sounds on my phone for later transmission at sign-off at the hospital is even better. The ability to have a button to turn it on is much better than the slider on the original model. This was well worth the upgrade.

My hearing is not what it used to be, and I now wear hearing aids. Taking them in and out to use a stethoscope has been a pain, even though I loved my 'old' Littman ampliphied stethoscope. At first, I had some issues because my hearing loss is in the high frequency range, and my hearing aids boost those frequencies and ignore the lower frequencies - which makes all auscultated sounds tinny and difficult to hear. I was able to ask my audiologist to program a custom program for when I bluetooth in my stethoscope which boosts the lower ranges, and it is fantastic. I love this stethoscope.
