The ECG reader never gives a clear reading like it shows. I have yet to get a clear reading on a NSR patient. Also if the patient has chest hair you may as well forget it

This is a good stethoscope for hearing heart sounds, but with the blue tooth connection to my hearing aids the lung sounds are very hard to hear, even in pulmonary mode. Also not great for carotid auscultation due to the size

Able to hear everything with this. Bowel sounds are a little touchy to master though but pretty clear. Have not mastered the turning off feature yet. There is a slight lag with credible rhythm development and heart rate shows only briefly. Very handy but needs some tweeking. Long battery life though.

Initially I was impressed by the stethoscope. However, after two uses, the device stopped working. Customer service is poor. I’ve tried calling, texting, and emailing. It has now been 9 days and I’m not even close to a resolution. Good product concept. Poor customer service. Update: I was finally sent a replacement. The stethoscope is a game changer. I absolutely love the product. I hope they improve the customer service though. Product is so good I would still buy another one.

My second day of using the Eko CORE 500 Stethoscope I diagnosed an elderly woman with Atrial Fibrillation. This was a new onset. I am very pleased with the stethoscope. For listening to the heart and lungs, I found that if I hold the tubing at the connection, I get less static and don't hit the buttons as often. The sound is amazing!

Lighter weight, can instantly view EKG and has noise canceling properties. Best investment ever. I bought this after nothing but frustration from the 300 series that had lost its ability to charge after 2 years. Would have been nice to get some credit towards this upgrade though.

I am a respiratory therapist who wears Widex hearing aids. I was informed that I could Bluetooth the stethoscope to my hearing aids, which was not true. I use the help of audiologist. It was so faint it was almost unrecognizable. I can put the stethoscope buds over my hearing aids and hear which is how I use the EKO. It is much better than a regular stethoscope, for I cannot keep taking my hearing aids off when I listen to my patients and especially in emergencies

I purchased the Eko core 500 about 1 month ago. Once you are able to recognize what you are listening to and what to tune out the core 500 is great. I had an issue with the glass top bell about 3-4 days in and thought wow this thing is so delicate, after noticing scratches and tiny chipped areas on the edge. I was like, It will never make it in a fast passed trauma setting. I spoke with Ashely M who was very helpful and sent me a new bell. I do wish there was at least a protective cover that can be applied to keep the glass bell top free from scratches. I am currently looking for a round protector that fits the bell. Still looking…… Otherwise I love it. Charging is pretty fast, I keep my basic stethoscope around just in case I forget to charge and need to do so. Charges pretty quickly.
