It's a great device with great price and I already have recommended it to a few people. Pros: Great audio. It comes with stethoscope tubing. App is great. The charging pad is amazing and it is way better than plugging your stethoscope to a charger. I think it is worth the price. Cons: Can't export audio from your phone and you need to log on a website. EKG lead reading is too small and it's hard to make diagnosis so then you are forced to record it and look at it at much closer distance. If the EKG was amplified it would have been much nicer. My biggest problem with it is If you use Bluetooth headphones such as airpods to listen to the audio, then the audio and EKG pauses every 2 second and it becomes unusable. I can't say I recommend using Bluetooth to listen to patient heart lung with this device. I was a bit disappointed with this as I have another electronic stethoscope that I use my Airpod Bluetooth audio with and that works fine so I was really looking forwad to using my blutooth headphones with this. My guess is the input and output in this device uses all of Bluetooth bandwith so it can't handle the data. But my question is why can't the data be compressed and not be transmited as wave file?

Device appears to work well. Nice to get direct readings from chest, as well as, hands. Can inspect the equivalent of VI and VII leads. The overall reading is not as smooth as from a typical 12-lead ECG, but most details can be seen.

The Eko Duo is the finest electronic scope I’ve ever used. Everything works well and harmoniously. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is the lack of ability to send the sound and ecg to another provider. For example if I wanted to send it to another provider or colleague or even a student for them to learn I would have to hand them my phone and physically be with them.

Thank you for your support Blake! Yes you can share heart sound and ECG recordings from the app. After you save a recording to a patient record, you can send a secure email of the patient record to anyone. The recipient will have to create a free Eko account to view. We are happy to elaborate.

Bought this for my wife, an experienced Trauma ICU RN with years of experience. She had one of the original electronic stethoscopes (another manufacturer) for many years before it finally wore out. She had her eye on the EKO DUO for a while, and I surprised her with one for our wedding anniversary. She was elated, and has raved about the amazing quality and performance of the EKO. Great work, EKO team!! Keep it up!

The Eko Duo is fascinating, and the one lead EKG adds another dimension to the heart examination.

The one lead stethoscope is truly a leader in combining a single lead EKG with the phonocardiogram. It is very useful to match the EKG to the heart rate. Though the phonocardiogram is excellent the EKG seems to have a little difficulty getting a clean reading especially compared to other consumer devices like the Kardia or even the 4th gen Apple Watch. Together this is a game changer and certainly is sure to change the look and feel of the humble stethoscope in the future.

excellent amplification with ability to adjust to 7 different levels. bluetooth connection to see single lead ECG on smartphone works well. Customer support was excellent as I had trouble with wireless recharging and quickly learned that it was a bad transformer and not the device itself. battery life is excellent as well as I haven't had to recharge despite a long day.
