lightweight. good charge for routine use. nice display and quick ease of use of app on iphone. i wish i could play the sound louder on iphone so patients can hear the heart sounds. The audio is too weak on the iphone sound.

This is a light, sleek device. The sound quality and amplification are great. I love using this stethoscope for listening to my patients. I don't really use the ecg in my work, but I've used it some outside of work and it's pretty cool. The wireless charging is nice, and I like the ear pieces.

I was thrilled when my Eko Duo arrived! I can't wait to begin using it! Unfortunately, right now it is completely useless because I was not aware that it does not work with any device other than Apple iOS operating systems. A friend of mine borrowed it and was able to pair it with her Apple phone and showed me the readings. It was really cool! We were not able to print out the ECG reading, but didn't try for very long. The only thing I really need is to evaluate for QT prolongation, so I'm not sure if this device will do that for me or not, espcially since right now it is just a black brick until it can pair with Android phones.

Echo Duo arrived just before Christmas. We display it on an IPad. Patients really appreciate being able to see what their doctor is listening to. The simultaneous ECG is a valuable feature in evaluating premature contractions and A-fib.

Reasonably interesting device. Currently using it for teaching only, for clinical purposes I keep my trusty Littman Master II on hand. 1. The elongated shape of the Eko DUO makes it difficult to examine patients with unusual anatomy (e.g. pectus excavatum) satisfactorily. 2. The flat shape makes it easier to examine patients who are not fully disrobed 4. The connection to iPhone is reasonably reliable but requires a few clicks 3. Sound quality is ok but not stellar. Personally, among digital stethoscopes, I prefer the ThinkLab One's sound and filter choices. 4. The default setting for volume is reasonably low, and the does not seem to be a mechanism to make it "stick" at a higher volume between exams. 5. The 3-clicks mechanism does not reliably initiate recording. Yet, to activate a recording from the phone screen, you'll have to have your phone close by. That creates issues with hygiene, placement and risk of falling for the phone -- at least in my mind. A lot of fun, but not ready for prime time in my opinion. Then again, I'm old.
