“I cannot believe how I much better my ability to hear, and diagnose arrhythmia is with the EKO. In my rural health practice, it may be quite a while before I can arrange for a patient to get to a cardiologist, and it may be vital for me to identify and treat quickly! I just love the app, I immediately see the tracing on my iPhone and I can screenshot and print immediately or send in real-time to the specialist!”

“I used it shortly after it arrived & sent the tracing to my local physician. The only problem, which I have notified Eko about, is that the heart rate, shown at the bottom right of the tracing, disappears when you save the tracing.”

“I am finding the ecg/digital stethoscope easy to use for almost all veterinary patients. I do wet their fur with alcohol first. The only problems I have are with animals that have very thick coats or if the animal is shaking a lot. The standard of care that I provide my patients is elevated and so is client perception of value.”

“Good product. Easy to use a stethoscope, not as much as an ECG, the contact between skin and electrodes is sometimes difficult, and the reading has artifacts. Also, the fact that you need to use it directly on the skin is difficult. But the sound is good (not quite 40 times enhanced, but good). Looks great as design.”

“I have bilateral hearing aides, so getting a stethoscope that number one, was comfortable, and number two, gave a TRUE rendering of breath sounds, and heart sounds. I have used multiple different electronic stethoscopes in the past, but I was always unhappy with the quality of the sound. I have had my Eko Duo. for a little over a year, and I could not possibly, be any more pleased. I have been waiting for almost 40 years, in practice, to finally have the best quality sound on the market. My patients are when I show them their heart rhythm, or play back heart sounds, with an ekg, to help them understand the problem that they are having. I have seen an increase in patient compliance, and in satisfaction, when they feel like part of the solution. My colleagues are always coming by to "borrow" my Eko Duo for assistance with diagnosis, in the E.R.”
