Our tours are fun, informative, and include thorough Segway rider training (in 11 languages!) before departure so you can be gliding through the city in no time. And you won’t miss a word of our tour guides’ entertaining narration because every guest gets a radio receiver and earbuds. San Francisco is full of awesome views and remarkable stories, and a Segway tour is the best way to enjoy both! We offer 1.5 and 2.5 hour fully-guided and narrated Segway tours of the waterfront, North Beach, Chinatown, and Golden Gate Park. Choose from 7 breathtaking routes with frequent daily and evening departures. Every tour leaves from one of two convenient start locations: Fisherman's Wharf or Golden Gate Park. Segway riders must be over age 12 and weigh between 100-250 lbs (45-113kg).

“This was my first Segway tour and The San Francisco Electric Tour Company did an amazing job with training, narrating the sights of the city, navigating through traffic and keeping us engaged. I was worried about driving the Segway, but was 100% at ease by the time we hit the streets. Recommend taking this tour on the first day of your trip as a way to introduce yourself to the major attractions and use the tour guides' recommendations for other activities and meals.”

“Our tour guide was great explaining lots of interesting points along our tour, taking many photos of our group and us as a couple. He really made it feel like he enjoyed his job and enjoyed taking us on the tour even though I know he does it on a daily basis.”

“Captain was a great tour guide. Somehow he seamlessly managed to narrate a tour, keep track of us at night on city streets, watch out for bumps in the road, make a couple of rescues, and still make the tour fun for us. In days after the the tour, we were amazed at how much ground we had covered! We appreciated the stock of jackets and gloves for our night tour, so dragging jackets around all day wasn't necessary. I haven't compared this tour to other San Francisco Segway tours, but would book with this company again in a minute. We were depending on a cable car to get us to the tour location just across the street from the end of the Powell line, but had to take a cab at the last minute when the cable car didn't arrive...a consideration on transportation and timing for tourists.”
