“I'm on my first box, but so far it's working! My 7yo son (just turned 7) wants to read every day so he can earn his stars and get a prize :) He's excited about it and I'm excited for him :) Thank you Ello!”

“We are in our first month with Ello, but I can already tell my son's confidence is increasing. I have him read a book twice with Ello and then have him read it to me. He still has some trouble areas but is working hard and getting better at blending.”

“I got Read with Ello after sending thousands of a private tutor company to help my delayed reader. My daughter still did not like reading because she was unsure of words. Her first day with Ello she read 2.5 of her 5 books! She loves it! The one thing she is looking forward to is her prizes when she returns her books. I wish I had this when I was a kid! 100% recommend!”

“My son very much struggles with reading. He is a second grader and is definitely below grade level. Ellie has sparked more interest in reading and in only a week I am seeing progress. I love that they send real books that my child can hold but then the reading is guided —so any time they struggle with a word there is instant help. It is also nice that although I like to be close by and apart of the process, the app can take a lot of the guidance role. My child is much less likely to get frustrated with me and the app is always steady and consistent. Plus, my husband has encouraged my son to use it too. My child is getting a consistent guide that stays unemotional and helpful, no matter who is at the house. I have even left him with a babysitter reading. This was unheard of previously. I’m sure this is the best thing out there outside of a private tutor to get more hours of reading in for us! Thank you Ello!”

“I think this is a great idea and my daughter likes it except that it glitches a lot and won’t respond. Then she wants to quit reading due to frustration. if it didn’t glitch, I would give it 5 stars.”
