“We’ve tried apps for reading but my son gets distracted by the games and never ends up working on his reading. He was skeptical opening our first box. Honestly he was not excited at all. I asked him to keep an open mind and three pages into the first book he was audibly excited as he finished the pages. It’s day one and he has finished multiple books and is still going.”

“I was super excited to start this with my son and he was definitely excited to start once we got the box in the mail. It’s so hard for me to get him to sit down and read a full book but he wanted to read all 5 books as soon as we started. Interacting with the app definitely keeps him focused and wanting to keep going. The app itself is so easy to use the only issue I had was once he finished reading the book I wasn’t really sure what I was suppose to do the book finished but there wasn’t a closing type of statement or anything at the end to let us know ok you finished book 1 or something and there wasn’t a button to push not sure if it was something I missed on my part but other than that we are loving it.”

“I like the app and how interactive it is, but it doesn’t engage my child. We give it another month of try and if I see no improvement we have to cancel.”

“We have used this for only three days and my son loves it! I see his confidence growing when he is reading with Ello. He went from hating to read to picking up a book and reading with Ello as soon as he wakes up.”

“I love reading and I promote it a lot in my family. Even so, one of my sons had not been able to engage as much with this healthy learning habit, also due to his delayed speech development and scattered attention. It was by chance that I saw an advertisement for Ello and its educational method caught my attention that I decided to give it a try. The first impression is WOW. The creation of the reader's profile is super simple and allows a real evaluation of the reading level at which the child will start the program. Customer service is super fast and efficient. The instructions are clear and simple. We just started, we have received the first box of books and it is spectacular to see the emotion in the child when he received the box in his name as a gift, like "this is especially for you" and then with the application, he chose one of the books he received to read it to his friend Ello. This is FANTASTIC. It keeps him motivated and focused. As I said, we just started the program and for its great first impression I rate it five stars. I can't wait for the progress after this amazing beginning.”

“First off I think this is a great concept and has helped with motivation for my child to read. However we have continued with problems with the app closing out randomly. Support is very quick to respond and has been helpful but it continues, unsure if it is just related to my device. The prize that is the initiative to read and get points is a flop. My child(8 years old) wanted to pick the mystery gift and it was 2 very small bubble wands that you would get as a party favor, needless to say he was not impressed. Hoping for better this next month.”

“The app works great, the books come brand new. The reading level seems a little challenging but i’m a good way. I’m happy with this educational tool for my children.”
