“This platform has been helpful for us, especially when it comes to building more consistency in my child's reading practices. Prior to Ello, reading wasn't as engaging for them and I've found they don't have a problem going right to their rooms to read at the end of a day. The only note I have is that the system that tracks your child's voice isn't always accurate so it can be a little distracting for the kid. I hear my kid yelling, "The. THE!" until they can tell the app has received it.”

“I’m really impressed with this whole concept. My daughter missed a lot of reading introduction when the pandemic hit and struggles with reading. This is our first box and my ‘I hate to read’ 7 yo LOVES this. She loved that the box had her name on it and that it’s all just for her. The app was easy to set up and she can navigate it herself. Ello is helpful when she gets hung up on a word by helping her sound it out and she loves the point system. I also like the videos at the end that relate to what she just read. My only complaint so far is that we have a lot of extra noise in our house since we’re a big family and ello was having a hard time hearing her. It was better once we relocated to a quieter location. I do wish and wonder if she can only have 1 box per month or if I can trade the books in sooner once she masters them.”

“My daughter (7) received her first box last week and in that short time I have already seen more of an excitement with reading that I haven’t before! She is willing to sit longer and read the books beginning to end with Ello. The star points and prize reward gives her something to look forward to and keeps her wanting to read! So far so good!!!”

“My son is 6 and hates reading. This is so great, it has made reading a game. I also like the book selections. It has also been good for speech for my son because if he omits a sound he has to really pronunciate. Only thing I wish is that we could get more than 5 books a month ;).”

“Meet my feet ,she learned about the animals n there kind of feet they have . Hug a bug ,it’s a great book Maya loved it and it was easy for her to understand. Also understand about bugs .”
