“My daughter has been struggling with her reading comprehension and sounding out of words. This has left her discouraged which impedes her confidence and interest in reading. With the Ello program, she is gaining confidence through earning points which gain her prizes and unlock sweet, short videos. She looks forward to receiving a new box and her prizes in the mail. We see a change in her motivation and confidence which has her now more willing to practice and she enjoys the book selections as well, they are age appropriate, colorful and sweet. I especially recommend this program if your child is struggling with enjoying reading.”

“My kindergartener has been dragging his feet everyday when we sit down to practice reading. He constantly rushes, and guesses at the letters even though he knows how to sound them out. I was a little skeptical at trying a program that is on the iPad but quickly changed my mind once I saw how motivated my son was daily to work on his reading. He actually try’s and will ask me to set it up for him daily. Even in the short period of time I have noticed his growth and am very happy to continue with this program monthly.”

“My 6yr old was struggling with reading and we all would dread reading the little boring readers. He didn’t want to read at all. I was hesitant to order another subscription but I’m so glad we gave it a try! Ello far exceeded my expectations. My son read all five books the first day and was so excited to send off for a prize. Our goal with Ello was to get my son excited about reading and build confidence. My only complaint would be that five books isn’t near enough but we plan to reread them several times to master the words and then I believe we can email requesting more before our month is up? Anyway, we are very pleased and excited to continue with a fun way to learn how to read!”

“My son is not a strong reader and we just finished all five books from his first box and omg he is doing so well. We started a couple levels below his peers and I am hoping by the end of the year he will be right next to them.”

“My child is below grade level in reading, so I decided to try out Ello over the summer for some extra practice. My child really likes the app and is motivated to use it. I appreciate that it breaks words down to help my kiddos understand the phonics. The only downside of the program is that it can be glitchy with speech recognition. My child is deaf and uses cochlear implants, and there are some words that may be difficult to pronounce properly — and the app doesn’t quite account for that. Overall though, we’re enjoying the experience and look forward to future updates that will improve the program.”

“This program is wonderful! My son is very motivated by the points earned from each page read and the Elephant helps him sound out tough words. He finished his 5 books in a week!! We love it, perfect for summer reading.”
