“We are coming to the conclusion if our first month with Ello, and we couldn't be happier. It was always a struggle in our house fir our 6 year old to want to read a book. We would all be frustrated. Elli has helped ease frustration and inspire our 6 year old to actually want to read! We really like the books that were sent. A couple of the books were even classroom favorites from her 1st grade class!”

“Ever since we started reading with Ello, Kylie has been excited about reading. Ello is very helpful. I love sitting watching Kylie read, I also love how Ello breaks down the word, sound it out, then say the word and ask her to repeat. Ello is most definitely helping my daughter. Very fast too. She just started reading with Ello on Monday and we’re already about to send the first 5 back for more! To all my parents looking for help with reading for our children, Ello is the best move. They even check on you throughout the week and give great tips for us parents to help our young scholars. Kylie reads to me everyday and is very excited about every time. I’m also excited to let her read to me as well. It’s literally music to my ears how fast she is catching on. We love Ello”

“My daughter has always struggled with reading and it is a constant battle. We’ve just started with Elli but so far she has loved it. She wants to do it every day. I don’t even have to remind her. She feels very confident plus Ello corrects her when needed instead of mom. Which has been working great too! Would love to see older grades and ages added to the program.”

“My child is often reluctant work on reading and likes ALOT of parental support. She loved her first box and was very motivated, wanting to complete multiple books in one sitting. The stickers, the video at the end of books and the eventual prize were all very motivating. The voice recognition was 90 percent there when it came to understanding her speech. I sometimes had to repeat it louder and then it understood me. My child does have some age-typical speech sound errors, but that should have only impacted one of the words. I do wish there was an option for more systematic book selection, just in terms of the phonics rules kids may or may not have learned yet. But still this was a nice, motivating experience for my child and I. We’ll definitely get this box for a few months, at minimum.”

“We received our box yesterday and I have never seen my daughter light up the way she did when she checked the mail. She was instantly excited and ready to open her books to begin reading. She is pretty significantly behind grade level and is easily frustrated with "working" at home. She read a few sentences in her first book all by herself. It was sweet to see her so proud of herself. She took the books and ran. She read 3 out of her 5 books in the first day. She loves that she can do it on her own with the app.”

“My son has been struggling to read for a long time. We started Ello a little over 2 weeks and he finished 5 books during that time! He's been so excited to read them and finish!”

“Decoding has never been easy for my 1st grader But by my amazed eyes I can see my first grader being excited about reading and exploring books sent within this first month of our Ello journey. We look forward to our new box next month.”
