“My 5yo just finished preK and I was worried she would forgot all of the progress she made over the year (letter sounds and a few sight words). She has been wanting to learn to read, but was worried she would “mess up too much”. Because she was able to read the introductory sentence, we decided to take a chance on Ello. We’ve had it for a week and she’s already read three of the five books, earned a prize, and loves the sticker chart. She’s reading books without our help and I have no doubt she’ll be independently reading other books before the fall. Thanks Ello!”

“My son is in kinder going to first grade and is considered advanced in literacy so I have been pushing for him to read but did not want to. Now that he is using the Ello app he is reading every day. He read three of his books in one day!! He is motivated to pick up a book all by himself. The app is so easy to use.”

“This app is legendary and life changing. My son struggled all year with reading and his reading score dropped with his MOY scores. The school was concerned and tested him to rule out dyslexia. It’s the end of the school year while writing this but I wish I found out about this at the beginning of 1st grade. I saw a tremendous improvement after my son read the second book! My son also received Speech Therapy and by him having to speak clearly to progress within the app and book, we also see an improvement in his speech. I’m sure with his daily readings, he will be well prepared for 2nd grade. Thanks for creating this program!”

“My 6 year old son is growing up in a diverse household where he has to learn both English and his father's languages. He often struggled with pronouncing words and letter recognition. We have received our box and I'm very impressed that within the first few days of utilizing this app, I've noticed an improvement in his ability to read the words with ease! I love how the app detects when he is having trouble with certain words and provides assistance through the question mark and break down of syllables! I love this app and am a very proud parent! I also enjoy the supportive parenting tips I receive by subscribing to text messages, it's helping me improve in how I communicate and assist him in his education journey!”

“We are on day three of Ello and my girls LOVE IT! I have a Kinder and Second grader and instead of fighting with them to read they grab a book and the iPad and get going. My second grader sat a read a long book that I thought for sure she would want to stop and go back to later, but she powered through the whole book on her own. It been so fun to see them excited about reading and they love the help from the Ello elephant.”

“I have three kiddos that we are going to try this subscription on. So far my 7 year old loves it. My 8 year old can't wait to get his box but they said we had to wait a month to get all the books for both the subscriptions. So he cannot wait. He is reading his sisters books just cause he is excited. The app sometimes skips words that are pronounced wrong which I don't like. It also will skip a whole sentence. I sit with my kid to make sure she is getting the word correct and it's not skipping. I really like how it can help her with the words she is stuck on or not sure of. We will keep using and see how it turns out.”
