“We have just began using Ello with my 6 year old daughter who is an emergent reader. The program is set up very nicely for independence and reading motivation. I love how it fosters independence and my daughter is excited to receive her first prize for completing 5 books. The app sometimes has trouble hearing my daughter read which makes the app jumpy with feedback. Overall, great product and will continue!”

“My daughter was so excited to get her Ello box. She has the foundation knowledge to read but always chooses to guess words or make up her own. With Ello, she was actually reading the book and sounding out words she didn't know. I did notice that the app would either sometimes not register her reading or be too sensitive and skip ahead sometimes but, overall, what an amazing app!”

“My 6 year old loved his new box and is excited to get his prize next month (well played Ello). I didn't have his school scores handy, so the box was easy for him. It would have been cool to have a demo/guide to select what skill level he was if you did not have the academic test, otherwise we love the program.”

“I was not home when the box arrived, I walked in the door to an excited 8 year old telling me all about Ello and how neat it was to do. She promptly sat and read all the books....and then again and again! It gave her the confidence she needed to have a friend (ello) there when she needed help.”
