“My daughter is in PreK with a strong interest in reading. She knew a few sight words before I ordered her first Ello box. The day she opened the first box, she read through 3/5 immediately with little assistance. These books were perfectly on target and built her confidence immensely. Now she can't wait to sit down and read. We are eagerly awaiting next month's selection.”

“This is a great program over all good choices in books. The one down fall I ran into was that when my son reads it doesnt always follow along with him. When he struggled on words certain itwent to the next page even though he wanted help. Hopefully something they can fix. As for your child working on it alone I wouldn't advise as though it doesn't seem that user friendly. Unless your child is a lot older. My son is 7”

“I did not know what to expect once we received our box. It sounded fun and helpful so we gave it a try. I am so glad we did. My 6 year loved this immediately. We like that it is interactive. I love that it breaks down the words that your child may be having trouble with. I love that they receive a gift after their hard work. With Ello, my daughter takes the initiative to read herself. I dont have to tell her. Ello makes reading fun! My daughter is behind with reading, Ello will change that for sure! My only feedback is that I wish we could swap the books out sooner. After reading the same books several times. My daughter got bored. Other than that we LOVE IT LOVE LOVE IT!”

“My little is slightly advanced for his age in reading. I was nervous about getting books that would not hold his interest as getting him to read at home has been a challenge. He was so excited to get his Ello box! They based the box off his DRA scores and he got challenging but not overwhelming books. His first box arrived on Tuesday and this morning he took his tablet and the 4th book into his room and read it all by himself he needed no prompting to read and for that I’m going to be forever grateful to Ello!! Not even a week into our first box and he has one book to go and he cannot wait to see what books he gets next. This program is worth every single dime spent!! Even my husband was impressed by this program. We are blown away.”

“Our box was on our doorstep one evening when we were coming home from dinner. It was late but my son wanted to get started already! We downloaded the iPad app and he excitedly read through all 5 books. The app helped guide him through any words he was unsure of, and encouraged him along the way. He is a major Words of Affirmation kid so he loved hearing the elephant say things like “I love to hear you read!”. He earned points for each page read and upon reading all 5 books got to choose a prize to come in his next box. The only downside is that he read all 5 books in one sitting & now have to wait a month for the next shipment!”
