“My daughter really loves Ello. She has had struggles with reading and has a tendency to not want to sit down and do learning activities. I am one of those parents that struggle with teaching my child and not very patient when it comes to teaching educational things like reading, however I only wanted her to learn and enjoy doing it and not make her feel like she is being forced. So when I saw the ad for Ello and saw the price I decided to take the jump and give it try immediately. The first thing my daughter loved was that the package was addressed to her. I am an online shopper and I get a lot of packages from Amazon so for her to finally seeing one that was addressed to her made her day. One day I told her it was time to practice reading. I had to leave the room before we started and do something really quick. I thought she would just wait for me to get back to start reading, like she has done before Ello. NOPE! I walked back into the room and saw her on the 3rd page of a book reading along with Ello and asking Ello for help on words she didn't know. All by herself. She found the book she wanted to read and matched it on the tablet and began and what made it even better is once she was finished who the 1st book she said she wanted to ready another. Very proud moment and felt like money that was being well spent for something that cost less than a Barbie doll and will help her for years to come. I highly recommend to at least give Ello a try. What’s the worst that can happen? It’s affordable, convenient, educational, and helps your child and allows you as a parent to take a step back and know you child is getting smarter with out you really having to do much cause Ello does it for you (and explains it better then I could, but that just my personal opinion) while making your child feel independent.”

“The app is good. My son read to his kindle and liked it. You get 5 small paper back books for 5$ each. I think thats a little pricey. Maybe 6 to 8 books for 25$. It was neat to see my son try reading.”

“My granddaughter opened her books and wanted to read them right away. She woke up and asked to read Ello first thing. Up to this time, she was heard saying, "I can't read." or "I don't like to read." Now she is asking to read. It is wonderful to see the change! She is in first grade.”
