“My son is 9yrs old in 3rd grade. Before he met Ello, he did not like reading. Ello helped him so much. Now he loves reading any books every day. Ello is his best friend now. “Ello has finally engaged my daughter, we have tried many things and now she’s reading at her own level. Although she has speech deficits and gets frustrated with the app we still make time each week to read. This is still a new program and the customer service is very responsive to any issue we may have.”

“Before signing up with ello my son wasn’t interested in reading let alone trying to remember how to spell his name. He’s now excited about reading. And he even knows how to spell his name as well as try to spell out other words. His teachers were excited when I told them what I’ve been using to get him more excited about reading. So I referred them to ello so the entire class can also enjoy reading.”

“My first grader started the school year at a pre-kindergarten level. I tried everything and struggled to engage him with even trying to learn phonics or sound out letters. Ello has been a game changer. He counts down the days until our monthly box arrives and will read every book the first day. He loves to earn points to select his prize each month and watch videos. He recently told me, “Ello had taught me to read” and truly it had made a huge impact. We have moved up reading levels and he continues to impress me with his ability to learn new words and read entirely on his own, with some help from Ello as needed. I do have to read with him to make sure he is doing it exactly right but can balance it with him reading alone and Ello correcting him. My son loves books and we had all kinds at every level and these books are amazing and nothing like found online. I no longer have to read to him at night and he wants to read to me his Ello books.”

“My son would cry when it was time to sit down to try to read. It hurt me that he was so frustrated. I started dreading reading time too. I tried so many different apps. Too many to count! Then I remembered seeing Ello on Instagram ads and was like hmmm let's give this a go. Let me tell you!!!! He went through 4 of the 5 books on the first day! And HE wanted to, I didn't ask. He read all of his books every day. He was so happy and felt more confident so much so that he was ready to tackle other things he felt scared to do. Fast forward to getting the 2nd box, I picked up my mail before picking him up from school. The excitement and joy he had when he saw the Ello box in the car. He was ready to go home and read more! Such a great app!!! I'm thankful to have found an app that actually does work to help kids gain confidence in reading.”

“My daughter was struggling with reading and I had run out of ideas and ways to help her. Once I ran across Ello, I thought why not try. From the first box, my daughter was so excited. She wanted to start reading that same day. She loved how Ello the elephant interacted with the book and listened to her read. She became excited to read all the books in the box, just so she can have another box come in the mail with her prize. It has even become an adventure to bring the box to the post office, where she tells the workers about all the books she read.”

“My 9 year old son has struggled with Dyslexia for the past several years. He loves learning and loves when we read to him but finding books that he could read and enjoyed reading were a battle. I decided to give Ello a try after exhausting other reading apps and programs. My son was so excited to try this new program and anxiously awaited his first box. When his box arrived he was so excited he insisted on reading a book that night. He read the ENTIRE book without any feelings of frustration. When he had trouble with a word he would push the question mark and Ello would help him sound it out. Ello also noticed words that he mispronounced or got wrong & at the end of the page would show him how to sound out the word. The next week, my son insisted on reading 3 books in one sitting! Ello is a game changer. My son now looks forward to reading each night!!”
