Pros: So much more to learn. Have made one garment since I received it, without using a pattern. As you informed me there are so many u-tube tutorials with plenty of ideas. Keeping the wool on the needles is the challenge and having to complete the edges with knitted ribbing made the project take a lot longer to complete. I am seeing the value in this product and it seems from what u-tube is showing you can do everything your knitting needles can do from cable to fancy patterns casting off to form arm holes. These are more advanced projects but can be done. The addi stoppers are such a useful tool my first piece was panels. These stoppers allowed me to stay within the parameters. Very good idea. Cons. As your knitting gets longer. You must stay vigilant in potential stitch drops. I would suggest doing some sample pieces and learning the art of recovering dropped stitches and returning to the peg in the correct way. I learned the hard way. Being able to wind the handle to produce incredibly quick knitted lengths can cause RSI that took me a week of no knitting to recover. Maybe I was too ambitious, just a friendly warning.

Great product for pumping out beanies , (as I do for charity) I recommend playing with different yarns to suit what’s best for your needs

Yes, it is expensive but the best choice is, it's not going to break when you're using it. Made very well.

Wow so happy I bought an addi and not a cheap knock off. Once I worked out the best tension it was amazing.

I’ve never knitted, crocheted or sewn so the Addition opened up a whole new world to me. Day one I made headbands and beanies. Absolutely amazing little machine, I’m having so much fun with different yarn colours and textures.
