“My horse got horrible rain rot after being clipped and going to Florida for 2 weeks. Lost all her hair on her rump, with rain rot all over her body and legs. Her normally shiny beautiful coat was dull, hot to the touch, and missing hair all over the place with crud continuing to form. Tried lots of different things including washing with Betadine scrub, Microtek shampoo, putting on MTG, etc. After 4 weeks with no great improvement, I finally got some of this stuff based on the good reviews here and on Amazon and in one week, all rain rot gone and hair growing in beautifully. The balding patches on her sides have blended with the surroundings. Hair is growing back in these spots.
And she rarely scratches now.
Its only her neck that she still likes to be scratched. But she doesnt scratch it herself. Only occasionally.
So i am good with that, and I'm just waiting for her neck fur to grow back now.
