I can wet my horse's tail in a half bucket of water (2.5 gallons in a 5 gallon bucket), squirt on a little Neem shampoo and scrub the tail clean, rinse it in the same bucket I wet his tail in, then dump that water and just use a fresh 2.5 gallons to finish rinsing completely.
