This ointment is wonderful. My mare had a bad cut and I ordered this and from the day I started putting on the cut...it started healing wonderfully! I would recommend it to everyone. I think this should be a staple in a barn. I will not be without it! Wonderful product!!

Excellent ointment, deep tissue scar needs oils, (particularly ones found here) to keep hair growth at original color. You wont be disappointed.

My 3 year old mare got scared when we had sheets of rain pouring down one night and she busted open the 12’ livestock gate (basically busted the chain but bent the gate pretty good). Luckily she had minor scrapes on her leg and under her jaw. I applied this to the scraped and by the night the skin had grown back and the next day I saw hair growing back again and it’s not white hair either in the color it should be! Two thumbs up! It’s now my go to for wounds on my horses. They like the smell too!

I own two hairy Gypsy Vanners: having the right products is essential to stay on top of skin conditions that can develop really quickly under all that beautiful feather. One of my geldings gets a condition of Sallenders, which is a form of hyperkeratosis: the skin under the feather on the legs gets large, sticky dandruff that quickly adheres to the skin, forms scabs and then cracks the underlying skin creating sores. The wound ointment is super effective at softening the scabs within a day or two so they comes lose and heals the skin underneath immediately. Because of the oily texture it sticks nicely to the wound and gives great coverage. Use it on all scrapes and nicks...

Equiderma is hands down the best products I have found for my six horses so far. They sometimes resist me putting it on until they feel it on their bodies, and then they lean in for more.
