Treating pigmentation is one of (if not) the trickiest skin concerns, also making it quite frustrating too! Depending on the type of pigmentation you have and its severity, results will always vary. It can also take months for those cellular changes to occur, so please don't lose hope just yet!
Your Pomegranate Serum which contains Brightening actives as well Melanin Inhibitors is the first step to assist with brightening and lightening, before looking into your more intensive type In-Clinic treatments such as Laser, Peels etc. And then continuing with your Pomegranate Serum thereafter as your homecare maintenance.
As important as your Brightening Serum is for pigmentation, there are a couple of other options which are also going to assist. Using an AHA as an exfoliant will not only help to improve skin texture, but will also assist in speeding up cell renewal which can help with fading pigmentation. Also Vitamin A is another wonderful ingredient to assist with management.
When treating pigmentation trying to avoid heat and UV where possible is so important as this contributes to pigmentation, causing it to darken. Even a day in the sun can undo your home care routine! So being vigilant with sun protection is of the utmost importance, and even concentrating on treating pigmentation over the cooler months can be more beneficial as we tend not to see as much UV.
