I am so sorry to hear you didn't love you Skin Shield. As our SPF is all natural there is no 'added fragrance' so what you smell is the blend of the natural ingredients. Some people absolutely adore the SPF, and for some, the scent isn't for them. We try to keep our products fragrance free where possible as there can be allergens in so many - and we certainly steer clear of any artificial fragrances to keep our SPF as clean as possible. We do find that if a customer finds it unpleasant then it will subside shortly after application :-)

“It does it’s job as a sunscreen which the only good thing I can say about it. This sunscreen smelled horrible, and I felt self conscious about it all day. It also has a terrible white cast that if you use the recommended amount of sunscreen will leave you looking like a ghost.”

Usually the feedback we receive is that is doesn't leave a white cast.

“This is the first day of using this sunscreen and I found it very easy to apply.I have very oily skin and found this not thick or sticky.Very pleasent smell ,absorbs very good into my skin and it is still soft and smooth.”
“This sunscreen is so light on your skin and washes off with ease. I'm not confident it is water resistant however use it on the kids and reapply after swimming.”
Good morning Emma, Thank you so much for taking the time to review our Skin Shield SPF 30.
You are correct, our SPF is not water resistant. We suggest you reapply every 2 hours and more frequently when swimming, exercising or wiping your face. To follow esmi ethics and beliefs, there is not a sunscreen that meets this criteria that is vegan, reef safe and water resistant i'm afraid.
