“After trying both this type of gasket and silicone gaskets for the piston, I have come to prefer this type for both its reasonable cost and decent lifespan. For my home machine making between 5-10 shots per day, this traditional rubber gasket lasts at least 6 months and doesn't require periodic greasing.”
“These gaskets are far more "plastic" than most I've used, but they seem to seal reasonably well and, being harder material, last a bit longer. I have some question about performance since they don't hug the walls of the water chamber quite as tightly, but I haven't thrown on the pressure gauge to compare it to other manufacturers. I probably won't test it since they seem to work fine and make it easier to pull the lever as they don't seal as tightly.”
“I ordered a bunch of these for spares and was pleased to be able to get them shipped on USPS. They arrived in about 2 weeks with no brokerage hassles for about $8 shipping. Very nice option for getting parts in Canada. Oh yes, the gaskets are perfect also.”
