“These silicone seals are fantastic. Unlike rubber, they don't harden or crack and they last a LOT longer. I pull 7-8 shots a day, and I needed to replace the rubber seal every year. These have been running strong for over 2.5 years now and though I see a little wear, I am still not rushing to replace it. I bought 3 so I am all set for the next decade :-)

“The Cafelat silicone gaskets really, really shine when used in group heads. Regular rubber hardens and breaks down very fast in the dry heat of a group head regardless of whether you're using the machine in a commercial environment or home environment and they need to be replaced often to maintain a good seal. Silicone handles these conditions much better and I've gotten up to two years out of a silicone group head gasket - something unheard of with a traditional rubber one.”
