“This is the second CJ4000 scale I have I owned. The first one lasted about 10 years. Before buying this second one I tried another brand from the restaurant supply store. The other scale was terrible by comparison and it only lasted months before it failed. The CJ4000 is rock steady, very consistent and very quick when reporting changes to the weight. “This handy little scale achieves exactly what it sets out to do. I put coffee on it, it tells me how much it weighs - what more can I ask for?
Unlike some of the cheaper scales from other online sources this one holds a zero very well and tares very easily.
The only drawback, and it is very minor, is that the beep can not be turned off. If it bothered me that much there are instructions online to disable it, but that does void the warranty. So far it doesn't bother me that much.
