“I took a chance knowing mine had a shorter barrel thread. However I was surprised that the interior diameter was smaller! Still it seated properly and has been working the last 2 weeks. The Volante needs to run up around 1.3 bar and so far its good. Still, I go thru 1 a year on avg. Jim at 1st Line says you should descale the boiler at the same time to prolong the life of the Mater. Tempted to get the sucker PID'd and not have this part to replace. I paid extra for quicker shipping which was a waste because it still took about a week to get to me.”

“This pressurestat worked reliably in my Expobar Lever for a few months. Now the boiler occasionally overheats and the relief valve has to let the excess pressure out of the boiler.
It didn't last very long.”
