“We chose to purchase through espresso parts rather than Amazon to support small business. We placed the order and paid for next day shipping as we had a failure in the old unit and needed it urgently.
To Espresso Parts "Next day shipping" means next day from when we get around to someone "picking it" Not your traditional "tomorrow".
4 days after placing the order I called to see where it was and it hadnt been picked yet due to Covid and skeleton staff. I get that, but please have your disclaimers about Covid next to the "next day" shipping. No one will ever assume that next day shipping means that it may take a week because we are short staffed. Once Fed ex collects it it will be one day. It ended up costing me as I had to buy another on Amazon and have it over-nighted as I had no idea when the product may turn up but i knew when we were closing for repairs !”
