“Nice upgrade to the now-mushy timer switch in my old Super Jolly. Both this and the old timer switch are DPDT - I used a meter to figure out which leads went where. The stranded wire in grinder is not the best match for the screw terminals on the new switch. My old switch had spade terminals so I added those with a crimper. Expect it to last another 20 years of home use.”
“This was the only place anywhere that I could find this wiring information, including calling EP for help and being turned away. This wiring was actually quite simple with the above info.”
“I had to look up a lot of diagrams in order to rewire this properly, and since the switch has a different configuration than the timer switch, here are the correct wiring patterns:
the two light blue wires go to S/L2 and V/T2
the two brown wires go to R/L1 and U/T1
Always make sure to unplug the equipment before working on the electrical!”
