“I installed this wand on my Gaggia Classic (purchased in 2008), and it works perfectly. Installation took me ten minutes. It works much better than the stock (plastic) wand that came with the unit.”
“Wand works as it should. Better yet, it works on the Gaggia Classic. I did the conversion to the Rancilio steam wand. Check YouTube for this VERY simple change for the better. I’m no doctor but it does take some practice. Once you get it though, micro-bubbles fill the cup. Simple, easy and totally worth it.”
“On the particular version of the Gaggia classic I have (a Baby Gaggia with a mirrored front with four round buttons), much more work was required to detach the original wand than on others. Eventually, I got the machine apart, the old Gaggia part removed, the new Rancilio Silvia arm attached, and everything back together. It's clear that I now have more to learn about steaming milk, but my lattes and flat whites have already improved. A real bargain to improve my Gaggia machine.”
“This was like night/day vs. the stock arm on my Gaggia Classic. It even sounds right. Produces far better/tighter bubbles and you have 10 times more control with the foaming.
Replacing was easy and requires 1 tool, a wrench or pliers. One thing that confused for for a minute was you have to take the nut off of the Gaggia wand (which requires you to pull it over the 90 degree bend) and put it on the new wand.”
“I replaced my stock Delonghi EC220 steam wand with this one. All the key components from the old wand fit this one. Pretty happy with it so far, hopefully I can finally make a rosetta!”
