Rancilio Silvia Old Version Steam Wand Reviews

5 Rating 48 Reviews
I bought this to replace the panarello wand that comes stock on the Gaggia Classic. Mine came with a metal wand, but I also had a plastic tipped wand that I played around with, neither were very good. It took about 5 minutes to install, very easy to do. The hardest part is getting the rubber booty off to slide the Gaggia nut on. The Classic does not have a huge boiler and can't steam like some more expensive machines but this upgrade really is a must. I don't get perfect microfoam every time but i think that is a user issue. If you have a gaggia machine there's no reason not to put this on

Installed this on a Gaggia Baby Class and it worked like a charm. Thank you for carrying parts at a great price! When it comes time to sell my machine, this wand increased the value.

Replaced my Gaggia Classic steam wand with this one. Installing it took maybe 5-10 minutes and it works like a charm.

Installed this in my Gaggia Color (Red) and have been having great success with it versus the plastic pannarello wand. It was a straight forward install, in fact you could do it without even taking the top off. I will recommend this replacement to every Gaggia Color owner I run into.

Have always been a little frustrated by the Gaggia Classic Panerello Steam wand and found out about the easy upgrade to this nice wand. You can see the video here (https://youtu.be/OWoNXAq2Kus). The upgrade was easy and the product was just as advertised.

I, too, installed the Rancilio Silvia wand on my Gaggia Classic (actually on both of them, now) and am having some good results in making "microfoam" instead of the giant dry-type of foam I could produce before. Still working to perfect the technique, but I have a lot of confidence in the new wand. Also, my new thermometer which attaches to the pitcher plus keeping the pitcher 1/3 full of milk in the freezer for a short period before steaming have helped immeasurably!

Just installed this steam wand on my Gaggia New Baby machine replacing the stock Pannarello wand. The install was easy (about 15 minutes), and I anticipate I'll eventually be able to produce the perfect micro foam with more practice.
