One word of caution, when buying batteries from large concerns you are never sure how long they've sat on the shelves.
I put mine immediately on a CTEK MXS 5.0 charger which has 7 charging stages, this came up as 3. After 2hrs it had risen to stage 4 and the next morning it was at the highest stage 7.
With a Peugeout 2008 with stop start it's not an easy change as lots of electrical connections, so I paid my local mobile mechanic £10 to fit which he did in 15 mins using tools I don't possess (e.g. long reach ratchet). If I had done it would have taken me over an hour and a lot of swearing! Thus product has more power (CCA/AMPS) so should do the job :)
This new battery has a 5yr guarantee so keep the paperwork safe should it need to be replaced.
One thing I am confused about is I ordered 1st Jan but it wasn't delivered until Friday 8th. So does my guarantee run until 31st Dec 2025 or 7th Jan 2026?”
