I recently took delivery of a HPI1700 pressure washer and set it up on Friday 10th April. All was working fine for the first hour and very delighted with the patio cleaning results. However after lunch when I restarted with the switch the motor started running continuously before even pressing the lance trigger. It was still cleaning fine but on releasing the trigger the motor won't cut out without me manually turning the power off with the rocker switch. The system was fully charged with water prior to me turning the power on as per instructions. I had a look and checked the lance nozzle was clear with the pin tool supplied. The water filter at the inlet was fine with no signs of grit. I am running the washer from an outside mains tap incidentally. The garden hose was fine no kinks and had been previously flushed through for cleaning the car. Can you help please. I guess it's the pressure sensor switch for the lance trigger?
