“A fantastic looking unit which is solidly built and has a very nice finish. On opening the very effective packaging there were 5 legs to attach (simply screw on - no tools required) which were colour coded to avoid installing in the wrong places.
This sideboard looks convincingly mid-century whilst benefitting from modern soft close hinges. The drawers have a clever swiveling peg and slots at the back so you can simply turn them to pull a drawer fully out if necessary, rather than the usual metal brackets that are prone to come lose over many years of use. I expect it to last many years as there is nothing to really go wrong.
The only negative is that despite knowing the measurements in advance, it is, in reality is a little smaller than I had hoped and it isn't quite deep enough to fit things like trays or large platters. Another couple of cm on the depths and it would have been 5*.”
