Sparklers are a lot of fun and they’re not just for kids either! These beautiful gold heart sparklers are just the thing to brighten up any wedding, Valentine’s Day party, Anniversary Party or Sweet Sixteen party. Each heart measures 11” long from the bottom of the handle to the top of the heart. They also measure 3.5” across as well so there is plenty of “sparkle” to light up the room when everyone lights theirs up.
Each sparkler will burn for 45 seconds so depending on what you want to use them for, you can figure on each guest having their heart lit for that long. There is very little smoke with these and they can be used inside and out as well. Because they are sparklers and can burn, they are not recommended for children to play with although older children could participate with supervision
Each heart sparkler has a metal stem to hold and they light easily. Light one with a butane lighter or match and then let each guest light theirs from another heart sparkler that is already lit. If you’re trying to figure out how many to order for your event, it is good to figure on 2 sparklers per person so the photographer has time to get some great photos of the guests with lit sparklers. The room will look like a wonderland when they are all lit, giving the area a beautiful golden glow. Of course ordering more per person means they just get to have fun longer!
Once they burn out they are easy to dispose of in a separate bucket with a bit of water in it to eliminate the worry of any trash or paper catching fire if one isn’t completely burned out when it is tossed in the trash. Taking the bucket around to the guests so they can throw their sparklers away can be a great job for a child who loves to help out.
