“I weigh 100 kg and what I found is that I can run these heavy duty bushings looser than the stock fitted bushings which I had cranked up the combined effect of the new bushings has made the board even better.
It is a real shame that the postage cost for the superlight items is outrageous!”
“The Standard setup is not bad, I mean I could 100% have just kept using the 90a bushings.
I do feel like I’ve improved the stability with firmer bushings tho, and for my weight that’s tha good thing.
People with less experience will also feel more comfortable on harder setups.”
“My 6inch all terrain option set up rides great and suits my gtr carbon. I had the belt tensions a bit tight to start and had a click noise form the motor area. Once I dialled in my correct tensions with about 5mm movement all good now smooth operation and no noises.”
“Harder bushings have made such a difference to the feel of my board. Loved it with stock bushings... love it even more with now. They haven't changed the turning circle, I can still turn on a dime, but gives the board more of a 'carvey' feel as the trucks spring back more through the apex of each turn.”
“I bought my board second hand and have done loads of miles so I had to do my trucks up super tight to stop speed wobble. Changing to these new bushings has really made a difference and I now have a lot better carving and it feels more solid. I weigh 100kg but due to another comment advising I went for a combination of orange on the inner and blue on the outer and it seems to work well.
Only piece of advice I'd offer it not use Lithium grease as someone else recommended to stop squealing. The grease stripped the Evolve logo off the bushings straight away and I kind of liked it there.”
“I am a heavier rider & I thought I'd try orange bushings on the board side & the pale blue on the truck side. Wow what an improvement for me. The board is now more stable at speed & also I have the slightly softer bushings for the turning the board carves like a dream. This is on a bamboo GTX & AT tyres. Best investment for this board yet. Highly recommended”
