“This is a great backpack, and has now become my daily for trips to work. The only thing that I wish was better was the zips! If it had big heavy duty zips it would be the perfect pack. It's excellent for carrying the board around though.”
“It's a good bag. However with the cost of shipping and border fees, it's a VERY expense bag. Could I have found a bag locally? Absolutely. But it's here now and it works perfectly fine.”
“I really like the backpack. Feels well made and well structured. I always take it when I'm out riding and it fits all my gear, and somehow doesn't make me sweaty.
I don't tend to use the actual board carrier much, I suppose I should. Not actually seen anybody else use it for that purpose either, but I'm sure it's great for that too!”
“Probably one of the best currently available. Had an initial manufacturing fault and David at Evolve was awesome to deal with. Supplied a replacement immediately with express post. The design could do with more industrial zippers to avoid jumping teeth & a couple of quick connect straps around the side of the bag securing the board section would be the only changes I would like to see. The seat belt webbing for handles & straps really sets this backpack apart from conventional packs and numerous adjustments are possible with all the adjustable buckles. Looks great, very comfortable & fits a longboard quite well.”
“Wasn’t sure what to expect quality wise especially when my board arrived and how heavy the carbon GT was but there has definitely been a lot of thought put into supporting and holding the board steady on your back so you can comfortably walk around without it waggling about,
The build quality seems to be quite sound, the backpack spreads weight quite evenly and with the chest and waist straps it feels pretty comfy transporting the board that way, I really like how the backpacks setup, the insulated area is massive and compresses down to save space internally when not in use, the laptop slot fits my surface book perfectly, and there’s still loads of storage space left thanks to how tall the bag is.
All round great design would definitely recommend this bag.”
