“Now the bash guard is a must and worth every dollar. Great from picking up the board for transportation and takes away the worries on crashing and destroying your motors adding to the confidence of your add. Also asthecticly pleasing. Surprised its not added on on all brand new boards

“The idea is to protect the motor, but bash guard is also a great "handle" for when moving the skate around and also provides a "stand" for when not using the skate. I live in a rental and cannot drill holes on the wall, thanks to the bash guard I can keep my board upwards against the wall.”
